Q: When did you establish the partnership with Cody’s Automotive?

A: The partnership officially started on October 6th, 2025. The first announcement was made in Base camp with a step-by-step process and a fact sheet.

Q: How does this partnership support our caregivers' needs directly?

A: It is designed to help caregivers overcome transportation barriers that limit their economic mobilities. They offer discounted labor rates and free diagnostic checks. They are very reliable, and they provide a comfortable waiting space to sit in while the repairs are completed.

Q: Are there any benefits or discounts available?

A: Yes, they have a free diagnostic service for up to two hours. They will tell the caregiver what is wrong and if the vehicle is repairable or not. There is 26% off total labor cost. The other benefit that they offer is that they sell their parts to Our Chance TN at a fixed rate or wholesale price.

Q: How can a caregiver get started with the process at Cody’s Automotive?

A: Please contact your Family-Centered Coach or County Resource Navigator to start the process. You must have a driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a vehicle registered in your name. The caregiver needs to know a general idea of what’s wrong with the vehicle.

Q: Are there any special considerations Caregivers need to know?

A: All parts must be provided by Cody’s Automotive. If you choose to stay while your vehicle is being prepared, they provide a light snack and a comfortable waiting area.
